Welcome to the Nathan Hale-Ray High School website! We’re glad you’re here. This platform is designed to provide families, students, and community members with easy access to important information about our programs, policies, and the many opportunities available at Hale-Ray. Nathan Hale-Ray High School, nestled in the heart of Moodus, Connecticut, proudly serves approximately 300 students from East Haddam, Moodus and surrounding areas. Our school community is built on a rich tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts—and we continue to grow that legacy every day.

At Hale-Ray, we are deeply committed to fostering a high-quality educational experience that is both student-centered and forward-thinking. Our dedicated educators take a proactive approach to teaching, working to engage students through meaningful lessons, hands-on learning, the integration of technology, and the development of essential 21st-century skills. We strive to cultivate leadership, character, and curiosity in every student, helping them grow into responsible citizens and thoughtful contributors to an ever-changing world.

We believe in empowering students to chart their own paths, with support systems and learning environments that promote initiative, collaboration, and reflection.
