Leader in Me
Leader In Me is an evidence-based, comprehensive improvement model - developed in partnership with educators - that empowers individuals with the leadership skills they need to be life-ready.
Our Lighthouse team is made up of both students and staff, organized into three action groups: Culture, Academic, and Leadership. Each group works toward specific goals that support the overall mission of Lighthouse. Within these groups, students and staff collaborate closely to achieve their objectives, with students taking the lead in driving progress and activating initiatives.
The Lighthouse Team is dedicated to leading and supporting the implementation of the Leader in Me program, with the aim of nurturing a culture centered on leadership, accountability, and personal development. Our mission is to empower both students and staff by fostering essential life skills, encouraging a positive and inclusive school climate, and building a strong community grounded in leadership principles and effective habits.

- Sharing Lighthouse’s mission with the middle school’s Noisemakers Team
- Cultivating student interest in being leaders

- Fostering communication and involvement between our school’s clubs and sports
- Decreasing stereotypes of what a “typical leader” looks like
- Resolve scheduling conflicts within our school
